What does the ministry do?

PrayerServant provides a personalized website or "PrayerSite," that will allow you to post the accurate daily status of those in hospitals, mission fields, and disaster areas, and YES, YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE, regarding what ever you need, health, safety, material, and prayer needs.

CONNECT WITH YOUR FIRENDS.... You may also become a PrayerServant to connect with your friends and family and to encourage others. Use PSM to connect with your friends. Many of our features such as email, chat, the photo galleries, e-cards, classifieds, forums, and more, are all available to help you stay in touch with and support one another. It is our belief that this ministry also serves to build a greater sense of community. Drawing people together to pray, facilitates greater love for one another and builds strong, trusting relationships.

How Do I get started?

Your first step is to REGISTER. Registration is quick and easy. You will simply complete some initial questions such as name and email address, etc. and you are on your way.   

Adding your picture gives your profile a personal touch that is appreciated by everyone. This is called your Avatar. When you provide encouragement to someone on their PrayerSite next to your encouragement will be your picture adding that extra personal touch. So, please take a extra moment to upload a picture. The system does a nice job of resizing the photo to the proper size. All you need do is browse on your computer to select one and send it along.

Remember this is a social network so when you register you will also have the opportunity to expand you profile by providing both additional social and business information about yourself. This information helps others both get to know who you are as well as better pray for and assist you. If you are excited to get started you can always come back to this and fill it out later. 

How do I start a PrayerSite?

After you register you are a PrayerServant. A PrayerServant may then start as many PrayerSites and they would like. It's easy to do and here's how. 

 - Select PrayerSites from the main blue menu bar. 

- You will then see on a sub-menu the following options just below the main blue menu bar.
           PrayerSites Home - Browse PrayerSites - Create PrayerSite - My PrayerSites

- You got it! Select Create PrayerSite,  See this is easy.

You can make your PrayerSite Public or Private. You can even make it so only the people you designate as your friends can see it or just your friends and their friends.

You will be able to add photos to each PrayerSite that are special to that PrayerSite. This is separate or in addition to the photo Gallery you have as a PrayerServant. 

Your PrayerSite may now be about any need you may have. The body of Christ (that's all of us) would love to hear about how we may Pray for you! How may we lift you up to our LORD and SAVIOR. Our God loves specific prayers and He wants to bless you! Start your PrayerSite today and allow others to Pray for and encourage you. 

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Hebrews 10:23-25

What is a Group Forum?  

Group Forums are like discussion groups. In this area you will find five main categories at this time. Missions, Medical, Military, General Ministries, and Obituaries. 

These are great places to join together with like minded people and share ideas while learning together and supporting one another through any given situation. 

You will find a wide range of participants here from professionals to someone like myself who may just be trying to find some answers.  

What is My Dashboard?

Your Dashboard is your personal HOME page. Not to be confused with you Profile where you manage you account information. Your Dashboard gives you quick access to features available to you as a Prayerservant like your mailbox, friends, photos, invitations, bulletins, online friends, membership level, etc. 

What are Friends?

As a PrayerServant you will be able to invite others to join the ministry as well as become "Friends" with other current PrayerServants. When you are "friends" this provides a connection between two people making their communication very easy and their experience within the social network fun. 

When you see someone you know on the members list or the online list invite them to be your friend. Then will then show up on your IM (Internet Messaging) making it easy for you to connect to them in a chat. 

By building your friends list you can easily send out information or notices about a new PrayerSite or upcoming event.

Having someone on as a friend keeps them informed and up to date about what is going on on your PrayerSite or in your Forum. It makes it ease for you to leave them messages or chat, or even invite them to an available PrayerRoom.

What are My Invitations?

Now that you are a PrayerServant you can invite others to visit your PrayerSite or attend an event you have coming up or even invite someone to become a PrayerServant.

You know what they say, the more the better. I encourage you to send out invitations to those you know and love. Invite them to become a PrayerServant and participate in encouraging others or start their own PrayerSite. 

It's all automatic. You just put in their email address and "click" the invitation goes out "auto-magically"

What is a Prayer Room?

A Prayer Room is a chat room where multiple PrayerServant may gather to participate in a community online chat.

Inviting someone or a few people to a prayer room is a great way to get off to the side and have a discussion about how you may help another person, pray for someone, or plan an event.
